My imaginary husband, LOL!

HE HAS STYLE!!

While his Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson admitted to reporters that he doesn’t worry too much about his red carpet looks, saying “I guess I see which one fits and which one looks all right, ” Kellan Lutz says he’s “a fashionista.” At the D&G and Cinema Society-sponsored screening of New Moon in N.Y.C. last Thursday, Lutz came camera-ready in a sleek Dolce & Gabbana suit. And while costars Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart twirled around the party in designer frocks from Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino respectively, Lutz opined toStylelist.com that the sexiest thing a woman can wear is “my clothes. A long business shirt. Maybe just that. That covers enough. I like when my girlfriends wear my sweatpants and my Ugg shoes and my tank tops and t shirts.” Not that they can keep them — Lutz told PEOPLE emphatically, “I never let my girlfriends keep my clothes! No!” – reporting by K.C. Bake

Sales sparkle at jewelry maker Stella & Dot - San Francisco Business Times:

Sales sparkle at jewelry maker Stella & Dot - San Francisco Business Times:

People say recessions breed entrepreneurs, which may account for explosive growth atStella & Dot.

In August 2008, the direct sale jewelry company conservatively estimated it would double sales in 2009 for revenue between $9 million and $11 million. Now it looks like the Burlingame-based company will hit $30 million.

“Last year, when you think of the times, people were hesitant to hope,” said Jessica Herrin, founder and CEO of Stella & Dot, and before that the founder of WeddingChannel.com. “We knew the momentum of our business … and even with all that confidence, we were hesitant to say we would more than double our growth.”

Between August 2008 and today, Stella & Dot has grown from 500 stylists to 4,000. It had 14 employees then and has 30 today, with 13 open positions for everything from technology to HR to accounting. The company became profitable earlier this year, and it is almost entirely self-funded.

Holiday Party this Thurs.

I keep hoping for luck for my Christmas extravaganza this Thursday but when I take out my Stella and Dot jewelry for display I ask myself who would not want every piece in the catalog. I am ready to share the Love...
